AutoCorrect in MS Word 2007

I am a fan of Word’s autocorrect function, typing „ppl“ and getting „people“. As Word is also integrated as first choice editor in MS Outlook one benefit from this feature also while typing mails. In Office 2007 the autocorrect function was drastically moved, you can find following these navigation steps:

  • Press the office button (it’s the colored logo on the top left of any Office 2007 application),
  • Press the „Word Options“ button at the buttom of the opened list,
  • Select the „Proofing“ category on the left side of the Word Options window,
  • Click on the „AutoCorrect Options…“ button on the right pane.
