[SOLVED] Code 39 with CD-/DVD devices in device manager in XP/Vista
Problem: Yellow warning sign in front of all CD-/DVD devices in device manager.
Solution: Open the registry editor and navigate to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Control -> Class -> {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}.
Check the properties of the following keys:
* LowerFilters: PxHelp20
* UpperFilters: GEARAspiWDM
Alternatively, delete both keys. Reboot the system, all devices should be detected and installed automatically.
