As I haven’t found it today fast enough, I’ve to write it down here.

People suffering from hibernation problem using Windows XP with more than 1 GB RAM should try KB909095 to fix the problem. This fix should only be used, if you really cannot hibernate your system anymore. Symptoms are logged warning in the Event Log addressing missing resources for that problem or hints to increase your paging file.

This fix contains (at least now) a non-official XP kernel using an older codebase to overcome the problem. It can be requestet at the hotline or via support mail contacts. I don’t know, but I think I’ve written s.th. like this months ago 🙂
